ALADDIN - 2011 “Halifax’s Neil steals the show (again) in riotous panto romp”
You know it’s Christmas when hilarious home grown talent Neil Hurst breezes back into town for the Calderdale panto. The energetic entertainer had the wind in his sails as he whirled onto the stage to the tune of Let Me Entertain You, and he did just that. He went down a storm

With star-laden pantomime productions all over Yorkshire, the Victoria Theatre strikes gold with local singer/comedian Neil Hurst as Wishee Washee. Less of a name than many, Hurst is a loveable rogue and an all-rounder of some repute.
SLEEPING BEAUTY - 2010 http://www.thestage.co.uk/reviews/review.php/30833/sleeping-beauty
Neil Hurst as the Josh The Jester impressed last year and he does so again with his ability to energise the show and involve the audience. Hurst could be a feature of Christmas in Halifax for many years to come.

Halifax's very own Neil Hurst leads the way at the Victoria Theatre as comic genius Buttons. Neil hit a high note yet again with great songs, boundless energy and corny gags. It was the local entertainer's first professional panto in his home town after treading the boards across the country and he was on top form with quips relating to everything from Ziggy's Taxis to a night at the Acca.

Also from Halifax is Neil Hurst, who plays Buttons. He is a cheery soul and he has a ready supply of witty responses. When this panto was reviewed, he soon warmed up a strangely quiet audience.
JACK AND THE BEANSTALK - 2008 http://www.thestage.co.uk/reviews/review.php/22724/jack-and-the-beanstalk
Neil Hurst as Silly Billy is a highlight from this year’s Scunthorpe pantomime offering. Hurst is now widely acknowledged as the kind of goonish front man who makes acting gormless look easy.
