Over the past few years Neil has been approached to host a number of events. Never one to back away from a challenge Neil decided to grab the bull by the horns and has since become an accomplished presenter and host, hosting everything from large scale events to small scale gatherings. Neil has acted as host, auctioneer, judge and even dressed as a six foot teddy bear. Everything from the sublime to the ridiculous.

In 2011 Neil became involved in the regional Miss England competitions. Originally booked as the entertainment Neil had to step in at the eleventh hour to host and has since gone on to host many of the different regionals up and down the country.
Miss West Yorkshire 2012 was held at The Venue, Barkisland where Neil not only hosted but also entertained the audience while the judges were making their decisions.
Miss York 2012 will be held at The Barbican, York
on 19th May 2012. Neil will be hosting and introducing the headline act 'X Factor's' Amelia Lily.
The winners of each heat automatically go through to the national Miss England competition and possibly through to Miss World.

Since being at school Neil has been involved in charity work for Overgate Hospice. In later years Neil has been the regular host for the annual hospice garden party
In
2011 Neil produced the Overgate Hospice Big Night Out, starring Billy Pearce and The Grumbleweeds. This show made £12,000 for the 30th anniversary of Overgate Hospice, Elland.
Neil has been host for gala concerts for such charities as the Alzheimers Society and the RSPCA. Along with these concerts Neil has also hosted smaller events such as auctions, dinner dances and charity club nights.

In 2011 Neil was asked to host the 100th Anniversary concert for The Brooksbank School, his old secondry school. A fantastic event with over 1000 people in attendance.
Johnson Press asked Neil to host the annual Web Idol competition in 2009 and 2010, a talent show where contestants upload videos of themselves showing there talents online, they are then voted for and the finalists made it to the live show.
